4-Point Inspection
A 4-point inspection is used mostly for insurance purposes and is a very limited inspection that looks at the 4 major systems: Roof, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC. This kind of inspection is not nearly as comprehensive as a residential full home inspection. A 4-point inspection covers the main components found in most homes.
Electrical system: Electrical panels and electrical wiring.
Plumbing system: Existing water damage and hot water heaters.
Roofing: Roof shingles and roof covering.
HVAC system: Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning parts in an older home.
