A roof inspection is done to determine the roof’s integrity, the estimated longevity (a.k.a. the life of roof), and an ideal timeline of when the roof will need to be replaced. My job as a home inspector means that I will check the roof covering and materials, as well as check inside the attic to make sure no deterioration, leaking or damage is taking place.
